2026 Season (Junior) - After transferring to ETSU from Siena, Martinez turned in one of the most impressive seasons ever by a Buccaneer...The junior from Venezuela went 18-2 in singles this spring. Martinez won 10 matches in a row to begin the spring season and had an eight-match winning streak after dropping his lone contest of the regular season...Martinez, who was also named SoCon Player of the Week six times in 2026, is the seventh different Buccaneer to earn Player of the Year honors in the SoCon since the award was introduced in 1984...Martinez also paired with fellow Buc Martin Vergara to be one of the best doubles teams in the country...The duo won the SoCon Conference Masters Title and competed in the ITA Doubles Championships in the fall and they were ranked several weeks in the National Doubles Rankings from the ITA in 2026.
