JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 11, 2026) - The ETSU women's soccer team gets one final tune-up before SoCon play when they visit the Radford Highlanders on Sunday at 7 p.m.

The Bucs are looking to flush a 2-0 loss to App State on Thursday where they conceded twice in the first 18 minutes. The loss snapped an 11-game home unbeaten streak, and they have now given up a goal in the first 26 minutes of five consecutive losses dating back to a 3-0 defeat at Samford on October 19, 2025. ETSU has not lost three straight games since September 15-25, 2022, when they lost to Oklahoma, Furman, and Wofford.

The Highlanders have lost three in a row after a 2-1 defeat at home against Richmond last Sunday. Haley Blake's 43rd minute equalizer was the first goal the Highlanders had scored against a Division I opponent this season. They have faced two SoCon teams already, losing 1-0 at Tennessee Tech on August 20 and 3-0 at UNCG on August 30.

In 20 prior meetings between ETSU and Radford in women's soccer, the Bucs hold a 10-8-2 advantage. They have won eight of the last 12 meetings and won six straight from 2007-2016. They won last year's game in Johnson City by a 4-2 final score on September 11, 2025, with a brace from Reagan Fitzgerald supported by goals from Jada Cooper and Sadie Commerford.
