PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. - East Tennessee State University women's golf team finished in ninth place after a final-round 293 gave them an 877 54-hole total to finish the Golfweek Invitational on Tuesday at Caledonia Golf Club.
East Tennessee State finished two strokes behind eighth-place Troy and one stroke ahead of 10th-place Stetson.
Arisa Piyamanit shot a final round two under 69 for a 54-hole total of 214. Piyamanit carded three birdies on Tuesday to finish in a tie for fifth place.
Sophia Gambini shot a one-over-par 72 in the final round for a three-day total of 215 to tie for 10th in the tournament.
McKenzie Hauk and
Francisca Moritz both shot a five-over 76 to close out the tournament. Hauk finished in a tie for 57th place with a 225 total, as Moritz tied for 77th with a 228 tournament total.
Aliezah Robinson rounded out the Buccaneers' lineup with a six over 77 in the final round for a 229 tournament total to finish in a tie for 85th place.
Up next, the Bucs head to the Golfweek Red Sky Classic at the Red Sky Golf Club in Wolcott, Colorado, Sept. 21-23.
