JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - East Tennessee State University women's golf team is set to compete in the Golfweek Fall Challenge, Sept. 6-8, at the Caledonia Golf Club in Pawleys Island, S.C.

East Tennessee State is coming off a fifth-place finish at the Tiger Classic, with Arisa Piyamanit leading the way for the Bucs with a first-round five-over-par 77 and a second-round five-under-par 67 for a 36-hole total of 144. Piyamanit will tee off first for the Buccaneers this week, averaging an even par 72.00 strokes per round. 

Sophia Gambini and Aliezah Robinson are up next, after 18th-place finishes for both in Clemson. The pair averages 73.50 strokes per round after the season's first event. 

McKenzie Hauk is third off the tee, after a one-over 73 followed by a second-round four-over 76 left her in a tie for 24th place at the Tiger Classic. The junior averages 74.50 strokes after the first two rounds of competition. 

Rounding out the Bucs' scoring lineup is freshman Francisca Moritz, who played as an individual in Clemson and shot a first-round five-over-par 77 and a second-round even-par 72 to finish in a tie for 24th place.

Elzbieta Aldana Leonardo will compete as an individual, averaging 76.00 strokes per round after the first two rounds of play. 

The Golfweek Fall Challenge takes place at the par 71, 6004 yard Caledonia Golf & Fish Club. 

The field includes Stetson, Central Arkansas, High Point, Memphis, Mercer, Morehead State, UNC Asheville, UNCG, Presbyterian, Arkansas State, Austin Peay, Campbell, Coastal Carolina, Lipscomb, Old Dominion, Queens, Radford, Stephen F. Austin, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Troy, UNCW, USC Upstate, and Miami.
