JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - East Tennessee State University women's golf tees it up for the first time in the 2026-27 season at the Tiger Classic hosted by Clemson on Monday at the Walker Course in Clemson, South Carolina.
The Buccaneers are in the field with Augusta, UNC-Asheville, West Georgia, East Carolina, UNG-Greensboro, USC-Upstate, and Western Carolina.
Sophia Gambini is first off the tee for the Buccaneers. Gambini competed in 27 rounds in the 2025-26 season with a scoring average of 74.67. She was also selected to the All-SoCon Team and SoCon All-Freshman Team.
Next up is
Arisa Piyamanit, who played in 27 rounds with an average of 73.63 strokes. Piyamanit was also selected to the 2025-26 All-SoCon Team and SoCon All-Freshman Team.
Elizbieta Adlana Leonardo and
Aliezah Robinson are set to begin their freshmen campaigns on Monday, teeing off third and fourth for the Bucs, respectively.
Rounding out the Bucs' lineup is
McKenzie Hauk, who played 24 rounds last season with a scoring average of 77.58.
Francisca Moritz will be competing as an individual.
The Tiger Classic begins tomorrow with an 8:30 am shotgun start. The Bucs are paired with Clemson, East Carolina, and Augusta. Live scoring is available on Clippd.
