JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Aug. 25, 2026) – ETSU women's soccer goalkeeper Addison Yelton was named the SoCon's Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Aug. 24, 2026. It is Yelton's first weekly award in two seasons as a Buccaneer.

The redshirt junior from Johnson City pitched a pair of shutouts during the week, with a two-save clean sheet against West Georgia on Aug. 20 and another one on Aug. 23 at UNC Asheville. The two shutouts lifted her to 10 for her career, tying her with Shu Ohba for the fourth-most at ETSU.

The Bucs are on the road at Longwood on Sunday for a 4 p.m. kickoff.
