SPARTANBURG, S.C. (March 3, 2026) – ETSU women's tennis player
Ksenija Rage was named the Southern Conference (SoCon) Player of the Week by the league office on Tuesday afternoon. This is not only the first weekly award of Rage's career but also the first that a Buccaneer has earned in 2026.
Rage helped lead the Bucs to a pair of victories over Western Carolina (7-0) and UNC Greensboro (6-1) to begin their SoCon schedule. Rage won both of her singles matches in those respective tilts by scores of 7-5, 6-4 and 6-2, 6-3. Meanwhile in doubles, Rage paired with
Julia Millan to secure a pair of 6-2 victories.
Rage and the rest of the Bucs will return to action this Friday when they take on No. 69 Liberty on the road. First serve for that match is set for 2 p.m.
