TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (Oct. 31, 2026) – The ETSU women's tennis team competed in its final fall tournament over the past two days in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. In a field featuring schools such as Ole Miss, Georgia Tech, and UAB, the Buccaneers more than held their own and came away with 13 victories across the event.

All five players that the Bucs sent to Tuscaloosa came away with at least one singles win, while the two doubles pairings also tallied at least a single victory. On the singles side, both senior Julia Millan and newcomer Uta Asakura posted a perfect 3-0 mark. Millan finishes up the fall 7-2 in singles, while Asakura, who transferred from Tulsa, posted a 9-2 record in her first semester playing for the Bucs.

Ksenija Rage and Millan were one of the doubles duos for ETSU with Asakura and Niyati Kukreti was the other. Both tandems went 2-1 at the event.
