RALEIGH, N.C. (Mar. 26, 2026) - Week two of the outdoor season will see ETSU men's and women's track & field teams send five runners to Raleigh, North Carolina, for the 2026 Raleigh Relays, and five throwers to Bristol for the second annual King University Invitational.

In Raleigh, the Bucs begin competition on Friday at 1:30 when Micailah Cook competes in the women's 400m sprint followed at 5:00pm by Deena Ludtke in the women's 3000m steeplechase.
On Saturday, Meg Lance leads the Bucs off at noon in the women's 800m run, followed by Ben Smith in the men's long jump at 2:00 and Cook in the women's 200m at 2:10. Smith will step onto the track at 3:05 for the men's 200m, and Bowers and Conner Overly will wrap the competition weekend for ETSU in the men's 800m run scheduled for 3:45pm.
The Raleigh-bound contingent set some of the SoCon's top marks last weekend at the Charlotte 49er Classic, with Cook topping the women's 100m and 200m sprints while Smith sits atop the men's 200m and fourth in the 400m, and Lance ranks fifth in the women's 800m.
For the trip to King, ETSU opens at 2:45pm on Friday with the women's hammer throw, entering Ijeoma Chukwu-Amaechi, Bella Novak, and Maddie Winchester. The men's discus begins at 8:00am on Saturday and is set to feature Milo Willets and Grant Winegar. Winchester, a freshman, ranks sixth in the SoCon in the women's shot put and is attempting the hammer throw for the first time in her college outdoor career.
