Women’s Tennis returns to action against Lipscomb

ETSU looks to cap its home stand with a win

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 13, 2026) – The ETSU women's tennis team will return to action on Saturday when it hosts Lipscomb. First serve between the Buccaneers and Bisons is set for 11 a.m. from the ETSU mini dome. Live stats for Saturday's match can be found HERE.

ETSU will bring a 3-2 record into Saturday's clash with Lipscomb. The Bucs have won back-to-back matches against Tusculum and Murray State. ETSU's other win this season was also a shutout against Eastern Kentucky (5-0) back on January 13.

Lipscomb has not lost yet in 2026. The Bisons are 3-0 so far this season with wins over Tennessee State (7-0), Middle Tennessee State (4-3), Western Kentucky (6-1). A player to watch for the Bisons is Mariia Dolzhenko as she has compiled a singles record of 12-3 during the 2025-26 academic year.

Over the last two decades, the Bucs and Bisons have met 17 times. ETSU has held the decisive edge in the series winning 16 of the 17 matchups. Lipscomb's lone win over the Bucs during that time frame was in 2019, 4-1.
