TEMPE, Ariz. (July 21, 2025) – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released its annual academic awards on Monday. Both ETSU's men's and women's programs earned the distinction of being an All-Academic Team, while nine Bucs (

Martin Garcia-Ripoll,
Carlos Gonzales,
Peter Kalocsai,
Francisco Lamas,
Julia Millan,
Ksenija Rage,
Jana Rovira) all garnered Scholar-Athlete honors.
To earn All-Academic team honors, teams need to have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale). As for being a Scholar-Athlete, student-athletes need to Have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year.
In 2025, 1,462 Division I women's student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, and 222 women's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
On the men's side, 994 Division I Men's student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, and 159 men's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
