Early Lead and Protect it Late – The Bucs have been great this season at getting off to good starts and protecting lead once it gets later in the game. ETSU is outscoring opponents 15-0 in the first inning through eight games. Furthermore, the Bucs are a perfect 5-0 when leading after six innings this season.
Coach Pennucci closing in a milestone – After Tuesday's 12-3 win over Appalachian State, ETSU Head Coach
Joe Pennucci needs just four more wins to reach 200 during tenure at ETSU. Once Pennucci reaches this mark, he'll join Tony Skole and Ken Campbell as the only two coaches in program history to reach this milestone. Additionally, he'll be the 28
th SoCon coach to accomplish the feat.

last season (7-5) at Thomas Stadium.
