2025 Season (Sophomore) - As a sophomore, Hyde continued to be one of ETSU's main starting pitchers...During his second campaign in Johnson City, Hyde made 15 starts and posted a perfect 7-0 record with a 3.72 ERA in 67.2 innings pitched...The 7-0 record is the most wins in ETSU history without a loss in program history for a single season...Eight of his 15 starts saw Hyde pitch five or more innings...He had three outings where he threw seven or more, including a career-high 7.1 innings against Samford on March 22 where he also totaled a season-high 10 strikeouts...Threw a seven-inning complete game shutout at Mercer on April 18 where he allowed just two base runners (one hit, one walk)...For that outing, Hyde was named the SoCon Pitcher of the Week...Hyde's wins as a sophomore came against Northern Kentucky, Binghamton, Pittsburgh, Samford, Western Carolina, Mercer, and Wofford...For his play all season long, Hyde landed All-SoCon First Team honors.
2024 Season (Freshman) - Hyde was a key member in his first season as a Buc in 2024...In 16 appearances (11 starts), Hyde went 7-3 with a 4.90 ERA in 71.2 innings pitched...Hyde also struck out a team-high 85 hitters on the season...In addition to leading the team in strikeouts, Hyde also paced ETSU's pitching staff in ERA, WHIP (1.27), innings pitched, and batting average against (.245)...Hyde made his collegiate debut on February 16 vs. Lafayette...Pitched five or more innings on seven occasions...Struck out a season-high 10 batters in a start at Samford in mid-April...Had seven or more strikeouts seven times as well...Tallied victories against Lafayette, Rider, Mercer, Purdue, The Citadel, VMI and Wofford in 2024...Came up with a stellar start for ETSU in the SoCon Tournament against top-seeded UNC Greensboro...In that start, Hyde tossed 6.2 innings, allowed one earned run and struck out eight...Because of that outing, Hyde landed a spot on the All-Tournament team...Furthermore, for his play all season long, Hyde earned All-SoCon Freshman Team honors.
Prior to ETSU - An All-District player in his final two seasons at McMinn County High School...Finished his high school career with a 4.0 grade point average.
