Leinani Lutu scored on back-to-back errors in the third to extend the lead to 7-0. In the sixth, an error on a bunt from Suchy allowed Young to score before Laramie hit ETSU's fifth double to give the Bucs a 10-0 lead.
In the circle, sophomore
Cameron Lauretta threw 5.1 innings with seven strikeouts and only allowed one hit. She allowed five of Maine's runs via bases-loaded walks and a sac fly in the sixth before freshman

In the second game of the day, the bats went quiet, as the Bucs totaled just three hits off Presbyterian. Mesusan led off the game with a single and would score on an error. Young scored in the same fashion in the sixth.
The Blue Hose scored on a wild pitch and single in the first, and wouldn't relinquish the lead. An RBI single in the fourth and RBI groundout in the sixth served as insurance runs for PC, and Presbyterian won 4-2.
The Pinnacle PC Invitational continues on Saturday. ETSU is slated to play Maine at noon and Presbyterian at 4:30 p.m. instead of the previously scheduled 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. first pitches. The start times for both games were pushed back three hours to 12 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. due to anticipated weather conditions in the area.
