SPARTANBURG, S.C. (March 19, 2024) – The Southern Conference announced on Tuesday that ETSU women's tennis player Ralitsa Alexandrova was named the SoCon Player of the Week. It marks Alexandrova's third weekly award of her career and the fifth this season for ETSU.
 
Alexandrova compiled a 3-0 record last week. Alexandrova won both of her singles matches against No. 63 USF and No. 28 FIU by scores of 6-3, 6-0 and 6-4, 6-2. Alexandrova and her doubles partner Jana Rovira clinched the doubles point for ETSU in their 4-3 win over USF last Tuesday.
 
Alexandrova and the rest of the Bucs will be back in action on Thursday when they visit Mercer. First serve for that match is set for 3 p.m.
