SPARTANBURG, S.C. (Jan. 23, 2024) – The Southern Conference announced on Tuesday that ETSU women's tennis player Ralitsa Alexandrova was named the Conference's Player of the Week. This marks Alexandrova's second weekly honor of her career and the second straight week that the Bucs have earned this award.
 
Alexandrova picked up a pair of singles wins last week. Playing out of the No. 6 singles position, the junior from Bulgaria notched a 6-3, 6-2 win at Clemson and then a 6-1, 6-2 victory at Virginia Tech. With the pair of wins, Alexandrova is now 2-1 on the spring season.
 
Alexandrova and the rest of the Bucs will return to action on February 2 when they visit Middle Tennessee State. First serve for that match is set for 1 p.m.
