CARY, N.C. (Oct. 4, 2023) – The ETSU women's tennis team recently wrapped up competition at the ITA All-American Championships in Cary, N.C.
Play at the Championships began on Saturday with pre-qualifying in both singles and doubles.
Maria Fernanda Carvajal and
Daniela Rivera both dropped their singles matches but fared well in doubles picking up victories against players from LSU and Memphis.
Moving forward to Sunday, Carvajal and Rivera fell in the consolation singles bracket. Furthermore, the duo finished a win away from moving into the qualifying draw in doubles as they fell to a team from Oklahoma by a score of 8-5.

Carvajal, Rivera and the rest of the Bucs will return to the court on October 13-15 when they compete in the Georgia Southern Fall Shootout.
