2026 Season (Junior) - As he did in his first two seasons in Johnson City, Harpster served as a key cog in ETSU's starting rotation in 2026...Harpster was named the Co-Preseason SoCon Pitcher of the Year before the season started...Finished the season with a 6-2 record and a 4.00 ERA in 72 innings thrown...He struck out 78 hitters in those 72 innings...Harpster was incredibly consistent as 11 of his 14 starts were at least five innings...Harpster tallied wins against Sacred Heart, Bradley, UNC Greensboro, VMI, Belmont, and Western Carolina...Struck out a career-high 10 batters against Belmont on April 11...His longest outing of 2026 was seven innings against VMI on March 28...Was a two-time SoCon Pitcher of the Week honoree as well...Led all ETSU pitchers in nearly all pitching categories...Entered the top five all-time at ETSU in wins by a pitcher with 21 by season's end...For his performance all season long, Harpster was named to the All-SoCon Second Team.Â
2025 Season (Sophomore) -Â Entering his sophomore campaign, Harpster was named Preseason All-SoCon First Team and was the Co-SoCon Pitcher of the Year before the season got underway...During his second year in Johnson City, Harpster went 7-3 with a 4.94 ERA in 74.2 innings...He totaled 69 strikeouts and held opposing hitters to a .247 batting average...In 10 of his 16 starts, Harpster pitched at least five innings...Had five starts where he lasted six innings or longer...Threw five no-hit innings with seven strikeouts in the season opener vs. Northern Kentucky...Also picked up wins over Binghamton, USC Upstate, Western Carolina, Toledo, Wofford, and Samford in the SoCon Tournament...He struck out a season-high nine hitters in a start at Mercer in mid-April...His longest outing was against UNC Greensboro on April 5, where he threw 7.1 innings.Â
2024 Season (Freshman) - In his first season in Johnson City, Harpster was a key part of ETSU's rotation, making a team-high 12 starts on the 2024 campaign...He made his ETSU debut on February 17 vs. Lafayette...Led the team with eight victories on the season...Eight of his 12 starts went five innings or longer...Picked up his first collegiate win in his debut vs. Lafayette...Also tallied wins against Wagner, James Madison, UNC Greensboro, Mercer, Purdue, The Citadel, and VMI...Overall, Harpster went 8-1 with a 5.26 ERA in 66.2 innings pitched as a freshman...Tossed the lone complete game for the Bucs in 2024 (vs. Purdue - 7 innings)...Also had the longest start by a Buc in 2024 (8 innings at UNCG)...For his play all season long, Harpster landed spots on both the All-SoCon Second Team and the All-SoCon Freshman Team.
