2024 Season (Senior) - Cameron Sisneros put together one of the best offensive seasons in ETSU baseball history in 2024...Playing and starting every game at first base, Sisneros began his campaign by earning Preseason All-SoCon First Team honors...Sisneros lived up to that billing as he not only slugged a home run in the season opener vs. Lafayette but he also slugged 22 more long balls throughout the season to finish with a team-high 23 in 2024...The senior first baseman hit .369 with 23 home runs and 86 RBI...The 86 RBI broke the single season program record in that category passing Paul Hoilman's 84 RBI season in 2010...Sisneros also totaled 79 hits, scored 62 runs, totaled 16 doubles, worked 49 walks against 20 strikeouts and made just two errors on the season to finish the season with a fielding percentage of .996...Sisneros reached base successfully in all 56 games in 2024 and closed his ETSU career by reaching base in 78 consecutive games...Had multi-home run games against Samford and Wofford (twice)...Drove in multiple runs 22 times in 2024 to go along with 22 multi-hit outings...Had five games where he drove in five runs or more, including an eight-RBI day at Wofford on May 11...For his play against the Terriers, Sisneros was named the SoCon Player of the Week for the second time his career...Continued his stellar offensive campaign in the SoCon Tournament where he hit .500 with eight RBI and a pair of home runs...Following the regular season, Sisneros not only earned a spot on the All-SoCon First Team but also was named the SoCon Player of the Year by the media members from around the league...Sisneros is the first Conference Player of the Year for ETSU since 2010 and he was the first Buc to be named SoCon Player of the Year since 2004...Sisneros was not done collecting awards, however, as he landed a spot on the All-ABCA Southeast Region Second Team.
2023 Season (Junior) - Started all 55 games at first base and was the only Buccaneer to start every game this season ... Had a breakout campaign, earning consensus second team All-SoCon honors in 2023 ... Batted .383 with a team-high 214 at-bats ... Led the team in hits (82), doubles (18), home runs (16), RBI (59), runs (45), total bases (148), slugging percentage (.692), on-base percentage (.472), walks (29), intentional walks (4) and putouts (442) ... Also ranked atop the Southern Conference in the "toughest to strikeout" category with just 24 strikeouts in 250 plate appearances ... Was named SoCon Player of the Week and one of Collegiate Baseball's National Players of the Week on May 9 after a stellar weekend at nationally-ranked Oklahoma State where he clubbed five homers over three games ... Hit three homers in the May 7 game, totaling four runs and four RBI ... One of two players to hit three homers in one game alongside Ashton King ... Had 29 multi-hit games — eight more than any other ETSU player — while posting 14 multi-RBI games ... Had eight games where he totaled three hits, as well as one four-hit game against Tennessee Tech on March 19 in Cookeville ... Went 6-for-13 with three doubles and three RBI in ETSU's season-opening series against Toledo ... Ironically, he had his most productive day in the regular season finale against UNCG, going 2-for-4 with five RBI on a two-run homer and a three-run homer later in the game ... Ended the season on a 22-game reached base streak, tying Cody Miller for the longest streak of the season ... Fielded .985 with just seven errors all season.
Prior to ETSU - Played two seasons at Lamar Community College as a two-way player ... Had a .425 batting average over two seasons in 101 games and 318 at-bats ... Finished his career with 135 hits, 35 doubles, five triples and 19 home runs while scoring 86 runs and driving home 106 ... Struck out only 34 times while drawing 48 walks ... Had 23 stolen bases ... Had an exceptional sophomore season with a .432 batting average, 64 hits, 25 walks and just 11 strikeouts in 173 plate appearances ... Slugged .824 his sophomore season ... Pitched in eight games as a freshman, posting a 3-3 record over 12.2 innings while recording one save ... Had a 3.55 ERA in 2021 ... Also made one appearance on the mound as a sophomore in 2022 ... Had a .987 fielding percentage over his JUCO career with 470 total outs and just six errors.
