JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 4, 2026) - The ETSU men's soccer team will start a busy day across campus on Saturday with a contest against the Longwood Lancers. Kick is set for 1:00pm, and admission is free to Summers-Taylor Stadium.

The Bucs are coming off a 3-0 loss to USC Upstate where they finished the game with nine players after red cards were issued to Frank Manrod in the 47th minute and Hugo Martinez in the 71st. Both center backs will be suspended for the Longwood game under NCAA rules.

The Lancers are off to a 4-0 start and have scored the most goals in the country and the second most goals per game. Joshwa Campbell is the third-leading goal in the country with five in four games, and Brando Bedolla leads the nation with five assists. The Lancers have scored multiple goals in all four of their wins so far and four or more in three of them.

This is the fifth meeting between ETSU and Longwood in men's soccer. The Bucs won the first three meetings by a combined 8-1 score before the Lancers held on through a wild second half for a 3-2 win in Farmville in 2025.
