SPARTANBURG, S.C. (Nov. 4, 2026) – The Southern Conference (SoCon) announced its annual award winners and All-SoCon teams on Wednesday afternoon.
Jaime Carrillo and
Gavin Dick both landed spots on the First Team, while
Elliot Edwards secured a Second Team selection. ETSU's three selections mark its most All-SoCon honorees since 2023.
Carrillo finished second in the SoCon in goals (8), shot attempts (49), and points (18). An All-SoCon Second Team honoree in 2025, Carrillo had a streak this season of scoring at least one goal in four consecutive matches. During that stretch, Carrillo recorded a three-goal outing against Presbyterian on September 22. As the postseason begins, Carrillo ranks tenth all-time in ETSU history with 29 points and is tied for ninth with 13 career goals.
One of the SoCon's top freshmen, Dick finished second on the team with 15 points (five goals, five assists). His 15 points led all SoCon freshmen this season. The freshman from Stirling, Scotland, tied for the third-most assists among freshmen in the nation this season with five. Additionally, each time Dick scored a goal, the Buccaneers ultimately came away with the win, including a two-goal effort against Liberty on October 10.
Edwards, a transfer from Tusculum, made an immediate impact during his first season in Johnson City. He ranked fifth on the team in minutes played (1,129) and totaled five goals and three assists for 13 points. Edwards recorded multiple points in four matches this season, including a two-goal performance against No. 24 Charlotte on October 3.
ETSU returns to action Thursday when it hosts Liberty in the SoCon Tournament Quarterfinals. Kickoff between the fourth-seeded Bucs and the fifth-seeded Flames is set for 3 p.m. at Summers-Taylor Stadium.
