JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 26, 2026) - The ETSU men's soccer team hosts the VMI Keydets on Sunday at 2 p.m. in their second SoCon game of 2026. Admission is free for all soccer matches at Summers-Taylor Stadium.

The Bucs are 3-1-1 in their last five and have risen to the top of the SoCon in scoring offense after they put on a clinic against Presbyterian in a 6-2 victory. Jaime Carrillo collected the third hat trick in program history, joining Fletcher Ekern and Tarik Pannholzer. Carrillo's seven goals are four goals shy of ETSU's single season record with nine games left for the Texan winger to climb the list. He has scored in four consecutive games. Gavin Dick, Elliot Edwards, and Joe Gonzalez all scored on Tuesday and have three goals each so far this season.
The Keydets have lost three straight after thrashing Warren Wilson on September 9. The Keydets have four wins, with just one against a Division I foe when they beat Presbyterian 3-1 on August 24. Yeirin Mejia is the third-leading goal scorer in the SoCon to date this season with five.
This is the 19th meeting between the Bucs and Keydets in men's soccer. ETSU is 17-1 in the all-time series and will look to avenge their first and only loss to the Keydets on November 1, 2025, a 2-1 defeat in Lexington.
