The Bucs welcome 19 new players, though several carry familiar names for the Tri-Cities soccer community: Noé Delmotte, Koké Gracia,
Hugo Martinez, and Eliot Edwards were all regular players for Bristol Rhythm AFC on their run to the National Premier Soccer League national final. Delmotte won the NPSL's Golden Glove award as the league's top goalkeeper in 2026. Notable returners include 2025 leading goal scorer
Jaime Carrillo, who has five goals at ETSU and eight for his college career, along with midfielder
Ulysses Hendriks and outside back
Khalifah Atolagbe, all of whom are expected to make major contributions for the Bucs this season.
The Royals were picked eighth of nine teams in the ASUN's 2026 preseason poll and return much of their offensive production from 2026. Top playmaker Vitor Baptistelli returns after a goal and four assists in his freshman year earned him ASUN All-Freshman honors. Midfielder Cole Pumpian returns for his senior year after scoring three goals last year, and Oliver Kneer also enters his senior year after scoring twice last season as an imposing 6'5" target forward.
While the two sides have played friendlies in the past, this is the first official meeting between ETSU and Queens in men's soccer. The Bucs played men's soccer in the ASUN from 2009 through the 2013 season, winning two tournament titles and appearing in the conference tournament final three times in five seasons.
