Box Score CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - East Tennessee State softball dropped the series finale on Sunday afternoon at Chattanooga. The Bucs (15-20, 3-9 SoCon) fell 5-14 in six innings to the Mocs (18-21-1, 6-6 SoCon).

How it Happened:
Offense for the Buccaneers arrived early when Martens was driven home after a walk from a pair of singles from Rieger and Porter. Coleman-Tillman was walked to load the bases after the single and Croley drove in the second run of the day on a ground out. The Bucs left the second inning up 2-1. Chattanooga tied it up in the bottom of the third and captured a strong lead in the bottom of the fourth after a slew of walks and singles. ETSU responded in the top of the fifth when Stonebraker doubled to drive in Stowell who reached on a fielders choice. Rieger followed Stonebraker's double with her own, driving in Stonebraker to elevate the score to 4-7. Porter then ground out to drive in the third run of the inning and the final run of the contest for the Bucs. The Mocs then assumed control as the Bucs went through four pitchers on the day to limit the damage but ultimately ETSU fell 5-14 in six innings.
- Talya Stonebraker recorded her second collegiate double and her first career RBI in the outing for her second-straight game reaching base.
- Tiare Riger registered her fifth double of the season along with her 12 RBI on the year with three putouts and one assist in the field. Rieger went 2-3 with one run and one RBI as the most effective hitter for the Bucs.
- Maddison Stowell was the third member of the squad to tally a double for the eighth game of the season with three or more doubles for the squad.
- Riley Croley boasted the team-high of three assists alongside her single putout.
- Leinani Lutu drew a season-high two walks in the meeting and collected two assists and two putouts.
- Hailey Porter owns two of the 10 total assists for the squad with two putouts attached.
- The team totaled 23 at-bats, five runs, eight hits, five RBI, three doubles, drew six walks and tallied 10 assists through 16 putouts.
