HARRISONBURG, Va. (March 6, 2026) – The ETSU baseball team's series opener at James Madison on Friday evening was suspended in the bottom of the fourth inning due to fog.
Friday's matchup began with some stellar work by the two starting pitchers. Neither ETSU's
Tadan Bell or JMU's Max Kuhle allowed a run in the first three innings. ETSU would break through in the fourth.
Nate Conner tripled off the right field wall and then scored shortly after on an error by the Dukes.
Play was halted shortly afterwards due to the foggy conditions. JMU began the bottom of the fourth with a walk and a double before the game was stopped. Play tomorrow will begin there with game two of the series to follow.
Friday's game will be picked up in the bottom of the fourth inning with nobody out, runners on second and third with the Bucs up 1-0. The action will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday from Harrisonburg.
