JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 24, 2026) – The ETSU football team held its first spring practice on Tuesday from Bank of Tennessee Field at William B. Greene, Jr. Stadium.
 
"It's exciting to be back out on the field again," said ETSU Head Football Coach Will Healy. "There's a lot of work that goes into getting to this point in putting the roster and staff together, so it was rewarding to see them come out here and compete. I believe that we have improved in several different areas. This group has been great so far and we look forward to seeing their development over these next few weeks."
 
The Buccaneers will have 12 practices over the next month leading into annual Blue and Gold Spring Game presented by Highlands Sports Medicine Powered by Ballad Health and ETSU Health on April 25. The start time for the spring game is scheduled for Noon.
