FORT MYERS, Fla. (March 17, 2026) – The No. 67 ETSU men's tennis team notched its 13
th win in a row on Tuesday as it downed Florida Gulf Coast by a score of 6-1. Tuesday's win over the Eagles boosts ETSU's record to 13-3 on the 2026 campaign.
The Buccaneers won the lone doubles match that was played until completion on Tuesday as
Oscar Martinez and
Martin Vergara came away with the 6-3 win. As for singles action, Martinez tallied a 7-5, 6-4 win in the No. 1 flight, while
Kai Cowcher (6-7 (2-7), 6-1, 1-0 (10-6) and
Carlos Gonzales (6-1, 6-1) both earned wins in their matches. ETSU won two singles contests, and one doubles match by forfeit against FGCU.
