JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 13, 2026) – The ETSU baseball team continued its dominance at home on Friday with a 12-2 win over Bradley in seven innings. Friday's win improves ETSU's home record to 10-1 this spring and 11-5 overall.
ETSU launched three home runs in Friday's win over Bradley.
Tristan Curless connected for his SoCon-leading eighth homer of the spring, while
Jamie Palmese and
Joey Little both squared up their first long balls of the 2026 campaign. The Bucs also had three players had two-hit games in Palmese (2-for-3),
Ian Guanzon (2-for-2), and
Ty Galusky (2-for-3).
The Bucs used just three pitchers on Friday.
Tadan Bell got the start and picked up his third win of the season. Bell threw the first five innings for the Bucs and allowed two runs on four hits and struck out five.
Carter Oliff and
Tyler Kropis followed Bell and were equally effective not allowing a hit in the final two innings of the contest.
Following a scoreless top half of the first,
Nate Conner started the Buccaneer offense with a leadoff single. Conner then stole second base, and
Mason Ault drove him in with a single to stake ETSU to an early 1-0 lead.
ETSU broke the game open in the second. A two-run single by
Henry Ferguson led into a three-run home run by Curless to grow the Buccaneer advantage to six after two innings. Bradley got two of those runs back in the third but a two-run home run by Palmese to dead center field made the score, 8-2, ETSU.
Palmese and Galusky drove in a couple more runs in the fifth with a single and double, respectively. A half inning later,
Tyler Fetterman delivered a pinch-hit RBI double to push ETSU's lead to nine, 11-2. The Bucs capped the victory over the Braves in the bottom of the seventh when Little came off the bench and delivered a walk-off home run off the scoreboard to put an exclamation point on a 12-2 win.
The Bucs and Braves will continue their series on Saturday with a doubleheader. The action will begin at Noon from Thomas Stadium with the day's second game to follow about 45 minutes following the conclusion of game one.
