2026 Season (Freshman) - As a freshman, Evans appeared in 16 games for ETSU, which included 12 appearances in the starting lineup...Was ETSU's starter at shortstop on opening day against Marist on February 13...His best performance of the season came on March 8 against James Madison where he went 3-for-5 with three RBI, and one run scored...Also picked up a hit in a win over Bradley on March 15...Scored four runs and stole a pair of bases on the season as well...Saw action at shortstop and second base during his first season in Johnson City. 

Prior to ETSU - Evans had a decorated career at Redan High School...He hit .522 in high school with 54 stolen bases and five home runs...Was an All-State selection as a prep and also took home Regional Player of the Year honors...His brother Donye also played collegiate baseball at Vanderbilt (2022) and Charlotte (2023).
