Bucs blank Presbyterian, 4-0, for fifth straight win

ETSU extends its home winning streak to 11

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 8, 2026) – The ETSU men's tennis team kept things rolling on Sunday with a 4-0 victory over Presbyterian at the ETSU mini dome. Sunday's win, which was ETSU's fifth in a row, improves ETSU's record to 5-3 this season.
 
The Buccaneers began Sunday's match by winning the doubles point. Oscar Martinez and Kai Cowcher paired up to win 6-2 before James Sim and Juan Listo teamed up to finish off doubles with a 6-4 victory.
 
As play progressed to singles, Martinez, Cowcher and Arenui Luethi all got into the win column on the day and clinched the win for the Bucs. Luethi's win clinched the match for the Bucs, while Martinez remains unbeaten in singles this spring (5-0).

ETSU will be back in action on February 17 when it visits UAB for a non-conference matchup. First serve between the Bucs and Blazers is set for 4 p.m. eastern time.
