BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Feb. 17, 2026) – The ETSU men's tennis team battled back from a 3-0 deficit to knock off UAB on Tuesday afternoon by a score of 4-3. The victory, which the Buccaneers' sixth in a row, improves ETSU's record to 6-3.
UAB jumped on the Bucs early on Tuesday by claiming the doubles point and winning two singles matches. ETSU battled back from the deficit with wins from
Oscar Martinez,
Martin Vergara,
Kai Cowcher, and
Carlos Gonzales. The victories by Cowcher and Gonzales were both in three sets and clinched ETSU's sixth consecutive win.
