Bucs roll past Belmont, 6-1, for seventh straight win

ETSU continues its stellar play as it hits the final week of February

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 20, 2026) – The ETSU men's tennis team continued its winning ways on Friday as it picked up a 6-1 win on the road at Belmont. Friday's win, which was ETSU's seventh in a row, boosts the Bucs' record to 7-3 on the 2026 campaign.
 
ETSU won the doubles point against the Bruins thanks to 6-3 and 6-2 victories. The Bucs kept the momentum rolling into singles action as they won five of the six matches with four of the five coming in straight sets. Oscar Martinez continues his undefeated streak in singles with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Belmont's Charlie Robin. Martinez is now 7-0 this spring.

ETSU will return home for its next match, which will be on Wednesday when it hosts UNC Asheville. The tilt between the Bucs and Bulldogs is set to get underway at 2 p.m. from inside the ETSU mini dome.
