SPARTANBURG, S.C. (Feb. 11, 2026) – ETSU sophomore sprinter
Micailah Cook was named the SoCon Women's Track Athlete of the Week for the week ending February 10, as announced by the league office on Wednesday.
Cook ran indoor personal bests in the 200m and 400m with times of 24.61 seconds and 55.92 seconds, respectively, at the Camel City Sprints in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on February 6. Her 200m time is the top mark in the SoCon so far this season, and her 400m time ranks third-best. Cook also ran a 55.71 split in the 4x400m relay, where the Bucs finished fifth.
She is the first Buccaneer to receive a weekly award during the 2025-26 track & field season.
The Bucs return to action this weekend at the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational in Lynchburg, Virginia, hosted by Liberty.
