RICHMOND, Va. (Feb. 1, 2026) – The ETSU men's tennis team continued with its winning ways on Sunday with a 4-3 victory on the road at VCU. The win, which is ETSU's fourth in a row, boosts ETSU's record to 4-3 this spring. Furthermore, it is the first victory for the Bucs against the Rams since 2019.
ETSU jumped out to the 1-0 lead on Sunday by securing the doubles point. However, the Rams battled back to knot the match at 2-2 a piece as play moved along to singles. Victories by
Oscar Martinez and
Arenui Luethi were enough to seal the win for the Blue and Gold.
