JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 27, 2026) - ETSU men's soccer goalkeeper Noé Delmotte has been named the SoCon Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending October 26, 2026, as announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Delmotte posted a career-high eight saves in a shutout of Furman, holding a Paladins side at bay that had scored 16 goals in its previous three matches even after ETSU went down a defender in the second half with a red card. The junior from Bondues, France, extended ETSU's shutout streak to 424:34 dating back to late in the first half of the game against Gardner-Webb on October 6, the third longest shutout streak in program history.

The weekly award is Delmotte's first of 2026, the first Defensive Player of the Week award for ETSU, and the fourth individual weekly honor in total, joining Gavin Dick's two Offensive Player of the Week wins and a likewise award for Jaime Carrillo.

The Bucs play at UNCG on Halloween with potential championship implications. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
