The game was moved from its scheduled Saturday date due to impending severe winter weather in the region. The first 700 fans in attendance will receive a free glowstick courtesy of the ETSU College of Business and Technology.

The Bucs are the SoCon's top team through seven games and lead the league in 10 of the 27 statistical categories tracked by the NCAA. ETSU has developed a three-headed scoring attack with
Brian Taylor II,
Cam Morris III, and
Blake Barkley all averaging between 14 and 15 points per game. Barkley ranks 21st in the nation in field goal percentage (61.5%) and Morris ranks 39th (58.5%). Morris is also one of the top 100 shot blockers in the country, sitting 90th in blocked shots (28) and 95th in blocks per game (1.47). Morris scored 21 points and had 11 rebounds in ETSU's 67-66 win over Chattanooga on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs have won consecutive games for the first time this season after stunning Furman in overtime on Wednesday, 77-75 in Charleston. The Citadel is led in scoring by Braxton Williams (13.6) and Christian Moore (11.0) with Sola Adebisi ranking among the league's best rebounders (6.2) and shot blockers (21).
ETSU has won seven consecutive games against The Citadel in men's basketball and leads the all-time series 54-20. The Bucs won 74-49 in Charleston on December 30 behind 17 points from Barkley, 13 from Taylor, and 13 more from
Jordan McCullum.
