No. 1 Wake Forest shuts out ETSU, 4-0

Bucs drop to 0-3 with Sunday’s loss

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (Jan. 11, 2026) – The ETSU men's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision on the road at No. 1 Wake Forest on Sunday afternoon. With Sunday's loss, the Bucs move their overall record move to 0-3 on the 2026 campaign.
 
While the Bucs did not secure a point on Sunday, the Bucs did win a few sets. Oscar Martinez won the first set of his match in No. 1 singles and was leading 5-3 in the second before it was left unfinished after Wake Forest clinched the match.
