COLUMBIA, S.C. (April 15, 2025) – East Tennessee State University women's golf sits alone in fifth place heading into the final round of the SoCon Championship.
The Bucs posted a second round score of 19-over to hold their place. Mercer jumped into third, while Wofford dropped to sixth. Just six strokes separate the Bears and Terriers. Furman increased its lead over the group to 11 strokes over Chattanooga, who sits in second. Samford, Western Carolina and The Citadel conclude the team standings.
Senior
Alex Crafton moved up three spots to No. 4 with a two-over round that featured birdies on Holes 1 and 12. Junior
Katie Hall jumped eight spots to 16th with a three-over day, powered by a strong front nine where she eagled the sixth hole.
Sophomore
Brianna Castaldi carded a four-over to move up six slots on the leaderboard, and
McKenzie Hauk rounded out the Buccaneers that scored with a 10-over day.
Crafton only trails Furman's Audrey Ryu (2-under), Mercer's Mikayla Dubnik (2-over) and WCU's Elizabeth Lohbauer (3-over). She's tied with Katie Scheck (Mercer) and Gabi Nicastro (Samford) for fourth.
