ETSU is led by SoCon preseason Player of the Year
Cameron Young. As nonconference play begins to wrap up, Young is slashing .459/.595/1.138 with 17 RBI and seven doubles, both the best marks on the team. Senior
Sara Muir has also performed well at the plate, with two home runs, 16 RBI and a .349 average.
Sophomore
Gabrielle Fowler has provided solid pitching for the Bucs. On the season, Fowler holds a 3.35 ERA and 1.54 WHIP over a team-high 39.2 IP.
USC Upstate is one of the three 2024 NCAA Tournament opponents on the Buccaneers' schedule, along with Chattanooga and Miami Ohio. After winning the Big South in 2024, the Spartans are 24-6 so far in 2025. Sophia Kardatzke leads USC Upstate at the plate with a .427/.760/1.246 line and seven home runs. In the circle, Sierra Maness has an 11-4 record with a 2.30 ERA and 70 strikeouts.
