MEMPHIS, Tenn. - East Tennessee State women's basketball (1-5, 0-0 SoCon) fell to Memphis (3-3, 0-0 AAC) 54-60 on Saturday afternoon.
NOTABLES
- Paige Lyons, the redshirt senior guard, collected a season-high 14 points, reaching the team-high of 4-7 in field goals and going 5-7 at the line, for her third game of the season in double-digits. Lyons also tallied two rebounds and one steal.
- Graduate guard Anala Nelson tallied double-digit points for her second consecutive appearance, reaching 14 by the game-high of 8-10 from the line. Nelson tacked on four rebounds, three assists and three steals for her fourth consecutive game with three or more assists.
- Kennedy Younkin, the sophomore forward, boasted 10 rebounds, seven defensive and three offensive, for the first Buc to reach double-digit rebounds since Meghan Downing at Lipscomb in 2024. Younkin added on four points against the Tigers.
- Following Younkin's rebounding efforts were freshman guard SaBreya Monsanto with seven and senior forward Meghan Downing and sophomore guard Jaidyn Harper with six apiece. Â
- Nine of 14Â members of the Bucs collected multiple points in the contest while 12 of 14 saw action.
- The team totaled 54 points, 45 rebounds, seven assists, six steals and one block.
