Box Score COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - East Tennessee State women's basketball (1-4, 0-0 SocCon) fell to the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles (4-1, 0-0 OVC) on Friday evening 52-61.
NOTABLES
- Anala Nelson, the graduate guard, boasted an ETSU career-high 17 points, going 7-8 from the line and 5-9 in field goals for additional ETSU career-highs. Nelson also collected three rebounds, one assist and three steals.
- Freshman guard SaBreya Monsanto recorded her third consecutive appearance with double-digit points, putting up 11 with five free throws and three field goals, tacking on two rebounds, two assists, three steals and one block.
- Meghan Downing opened the contest with one of her two blocks in the outing, with three rebounds, four points, two assists and one steal. The senior forward is now five blocks away from the ETSU All-Time Career Lead in total blocks (129).
- Carmen Richardson, the sophomore guard, put up a sheet of numbers with six points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal.
- Junior guard Daniela Lopez made her debut in the blue and gold, boasting seven points with two layups and a three point in 16 minutes of action. Lopez joins Richardson as the only two Bucs to make a three point attempt.
- Kennedy Younkin, the sophomore forward, collected the team-high of five rebounds.
- The Bucs totaled 52 points, 31 rebounds, eight assists, nine steals and three blocks, outscoring the Golden Eagles in points from turnovers, points from fast breaks and points from the bench.
