KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 19, 2025) – The ETSU women's tennis team recently wrapped up play at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships. The Regionals, which took place in Knoxville, Tennessee, saw the Buccaneers pick up a total of nine victories over the course of the event.
 
All six of ETSU's players had a part in at least one victory at the Regionals. Play started on Thursday with the qualifying singles draw. Newcomers Audelie Lesauvage and Mariangel Estrella both earned wins before the main draw for singles began.
 
During the main draw, Ksenija Rage and Julia Millan advanced the furthest for ETSU. Both Bucs advanced to the round of 32 before being knocked out of the tournament. Rage is now 6-2 and Millan is 4-3 in singles matches this fall.
 
In doubles portion of the Regionals, ETSU had a trio of pairings that took the court. The tandem of Rage and Alessandra Caceres had the best performance in Knoxville winning matches against teams from Chattanooga and Murray State to move on to the round of 16. Unfortunately, their run would come to an end one step prior to the quarterfinals as they fell to Vanderbilt's Celia-Belle Mohr and Sophia Webster by a score of 8-3.
