- With the win, ETSU improved to 5-0 in games played on Wednesday's this season
- ETSU finished plus-10 on the glass, 41-31, and converted 16 offensive rebounds into 16 second-chance points
- The Bucs have totaled 204 offensive rebounds on the season and rank 26th nationally in offensive rebound percentage (36.5)
- Quimari Peterson leads the Bucs in scoring at 18.6 points per game, while Jaden Seymour is posting 16.7 points per contest

- John Buggs III is one of 23 Division I players to make at least 50 three-pointers this season … Buggs ranks 18th nationally in made threes (50) and 34th in three-pointers made per game (3.1)
- Jaden Seymour scored his 1,000th career point and 1,000th point as a Buccaneer in the win over USC Upstate on Nov. 22 … Seymour became the 43rd 1,000-point scorer in program history and now is 27th in program history with 1,179 career points … Seymour needs two points to pass Micah Williams (2006-11) for 26th, three points to pass Wes Stallings (1983-86) for 25th, five to pass Isiah Brown (2008-12) for 24th, 19 to move past Kevin Tiggs (2007-09) for 23rd and 28 to move past T.J. Cromer for 22nd (2015-17) … Overall, Seymour has 1,190 points with 11 of those coming during his freshman season at Wichita State.
- With ETSU's nine made threes on Wednesday, the Bucs have made at least one three-pointer in 1,175 straight games – the third-longest streak in the country
- ETSU was picked to finish third in the SoCon Preseason Coaches Poll … The Bucs picked up two first-place votes, while reigning champion Samford was pegged number one and Chattanooga was selected second

- The Bulldogs are led by Brody Fox as he's averaging 16.4 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, while shooting 54 percent from the field
