COLUMBIA, S.C. (Sept. 14, 2024) – For the first time in 10 years, the ETSU and South Carolina men's soccer teams will meet on the pitch as the Buccaneers head to Columbia for a Sunday night match inside Eugene E. Stone III Stadium. Game time is set for 7 p.m.

ABOUT THE BUCS

• ETSU is 1-3-2 on the season
• The Bucs opened their four-game road swing with a 1-0 setback at High Point on Tuesday
• ETSU has been held scoreless in its last three halves as the Bucs netted first-half goals against UNC Wilmington on Sept. 7 when Henrique Cruz and Gabriel Ramos scored in a draw against the Seahawks
• Cruz and Ramos lead the Blue & Gold with five points each on the season
• Cruz has netted a team-best two goals and has one assist, while Ramos has three assists to go with his one goal
• The Bucs are searching for their first road win since last Oct. 21 when ETSU won 2-0 at Furman

• South Carolina is unbeaten on the season as the Gamecocks sit 3-0-2 overall
• South Carolina is outscoring its opponents, 17-6, while totaling 42 shots on goal and allowing 18
• The Gamecocks are coming off a 4-0 win over USC Upstate on Tuesday night, while they played No. 1 Clemson to a 2-2 draw back on Aug. 30
• Harrison Myring leads the club with five goals, while former Buccaneer Sebastian Reventlow-Mourier has totaled one goal and two assists in five starts
