JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 28, 2024) – East Tennessee State University volleyball head coach Lindsey Devine and her staff announced on Thursday information regarding its 2024 summer camps.
 
ETSU volleyball will hold camps for all ages and skill levels. Below is information on each of the camps the Bucs will be holding this summer.
 
LITTLE BUCS CAMP
·      June 15
·      9a-11a (Check-in at 8:30a)
·      Open for kindergartners-fourth graders
·      $25 per camper
·      Held in Brooks Gym and ETSU's Center for Physical Activity (CPA)
·      This camp is a perfect introduction to the game of volleyball. Campers will learn basic skills and concepts in a fun environment

JUNIOR BUCS ALL SKILLS CAMP
·      June 15
·      1p-3:30p (Check-in at 12:30p)
·      Open to 4^th-8^th graders
·      $40 per camper
·      Held in Brooks Gym and ETSU's Center for Physical Activity (CPA)
 
·      This camp is for players that have a basic understanding of the game of volleyball. Campers will learn basic skills and concepts in a fun environment

SERVING & FIRST BALL CONTACT CAMP
·      July 15
·      1:30-4p (Check-in at 1p)
·      Open to 8^th-12^th graders
·      $50 per camper
·      Held in Brooks Gym and ETSU's Center for Physical Activity (CPA)
·      This camp is designed to improve the serve and first ball contact. Campers will learn the important details and techniques in high repetition drills and games

BLOCKING AND FLOOR DEFENSE CAMP
·      July 15
·      6p-8:30p (Check-in at 5:30p)
·      Open to 8^th-12^th graders
·      $50 per camper
·      Held in Brooks Gym and ETSU's Center for Physical Activity (CPA)
·      This camp is for players that want to improve their blocking and defense skills. Campers will learn various techniques in high repetition drills aimed at improving eye work, decision making and tactics

SETTING & ATTACKING CAMP
·      July 16

·      Open to 8^th-12^th graders
·      $50 per camper

·      This camp is for players who want to improve their second ball contact and or attacking skills

ELITE COLLEGE PROSPECT CAMP
·      July 16-17
·      Check-in time at 1p on July 16
·      Open to 8^th-12^th graders
·      $300 (commuters); $375 (overnight)
·      Held in Brooks Gym and ETSU's Center for Physical Activity (CPA)
·      This experience is designed to take your game to the collegiate level by exposing you to the daily training systems in a NCAA Division 1 program.
·      Designed for campers with significant playing experience and a desire to encounter what it's like to live and train as a collegiate student-athlete. 2 days of intense skill-specific training

POSITIONAL SKILLS DAY CAMP
·      July 18
·      9a-11:30a; 12:30p-3:30p (Check-in time at 8:30a)
·      Open to 8^th-12^th graders
·      $100
·      Held in Brooks Gym and ETSU's Center for Physical Activity (CPA)
·      This camp will allow players to have position specific instruction for all the skills required for the game of volleyball
·      Athletes must bring a bag lunch
