ETSU heads to Boone for Monday doubleheader at Appalachian State

BOONE, N.C. (March 10, 2024) – The ETSU softball team returns to the diamond on Monday as the Buccaneers make the short trek over to Boone, N.C. to take on Appalachian State. First pitch of the doubleheader is set for 2 p.m. at Sywassink/Lloyd Family Stadium.

ABOUT THE BUCS
  • Through 16 games, ETSU sits 4-12 on the season
  • The Bucs are looking to snap a three-game skid after being swept by Ball State last Tuesday and falling in the nightcap to Robert Morris last Sunday
  • Cameron Young, who missed the Ball State games, leads the team with a .435 batting average (20-46) … Young also paces the Blue & Gold in hits, doubles (9), walks (9) and on-base percentage (.527)
