JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 25, 2024) – The ETSU women's tennis team continued its winning ways on Sunday with a 7-0 win over Western Carolina. With Sunday's victory, the Buccaneers improve to 5-4 overall and 2-0 in SoCon play. The Bucs have won four straight matches and five their last six since the calendar turned to February.  
 
ETSU was dominant in Sunday's match winning all three doubles matches and all six singles contests. Additionally, all six singles contests were in two sets. The duo of Fernanda Carvajal and Daniela Rivera clinched the doubles point for ETSU (6-4). Sofia Markova, meanwhile, clinched the match for the Bucs with her 6-1, 6-2 win in No. 1 singles.
