RALEIGH, N.C. (March 3, 2024) – The No. 75 ETSU women's tennis team fell in non-conference action at No. 10 NC State on Sunday afternoon by a score of 7-0. With Sunday's loss, ETSU moves to 5-5 on the season.
ETSU's tandem of
Fernanda Carvajal and
Daniela Rivera had a 6-5 lead vs. the No. 13 doubles team in the nation before the match was stopped due to the Wolfpack securing the doubles point. In singles,
Ralitsa Alexandrova pushed her match to three sets, while Rivera pushed the first set to a tiebreaker.
