JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 20, 2024) – The ETSU women's tennis team won its third consecutive match on Tuesday as it knocked off Appalachian State by a score of 6-1. With Tuesday's victory, the Buccaneers improve to 4-4 on the season.
ETSU won two of the three doubles matches on Tuesday and five of the six singles contests. Four of ETSU's singles victories came in two sets.
Jana Rovira clinched the match for the Buccaneers with a 6-1, 6-1 win from the No. 4 singles spot. With wins from
Daniela Rivera and
Ralitsa Alexandrova they pull into the team-lead with five singles wins on the season with
Sofia Markova.
