BRISTOL, Tenn. (Feb. 17, 2024) – The ETSU women's tennis team picked up its second straight win on Saturday as it knocked off Lipscomb by a score of 4-2 at the Bristol Racquet Club. With Saturday's win, ETSU improves to 3-4 on the season and it was Lipscomb's first loss this spring moving their record to 6-1.
ETSU started Saturday's action by claiming the doubles point for the third time in the last four matches. The Bisons tied the match at 1-1 with a win from the No. 2 singles position. Back-to-back wins by the Bucs from
Sofia Markova and
Daniela Rivera gave the lead back to the Blue and Gold. Lipscomb got another singles win before
Alessandra Caceres clinched the victory for the Bucs after winning her tilt: 6-3, 7-5.
